Arctic Frost Tangerine (Citrus reticulata 'gremoy 79') trees are known for the easy-to-peel tangy citrus fruits. This tree thrives best in growing zones 8-10, making it one of the most cold-hardy citrus trees around. However, it can be outdoor/indoor potted plants in all other climates. These trees prefer well-draining soil, full sun exposure, and are pollinator-friendly.

This tree was created by Dr. Ying Doon Moy, a notable plant breeder in Texas for over 20 years. He created over 150 new varieties of fruits and flowers. He made this tree by combining a winter-hardy traditional Chinese tangerine called 'Changsa' and various satsuma varieties.
