Helleborus blossom from winter to spring, making the the star of any winter garden. They make excellent indoor plants, adding color and variety during the Christmas season. Helleborus are happy in part shade to full shade. It prefers a nutrient-rich, limy soil with humus but will grow well in other soils as long as it does not retain too much water.
